A personal wildlife photography mentorship focused on storytelling, creative growth and developing your own artistic voice. Designed for photographers looking to move beyond technical perfection
Designed for photographers looking to move beyond technical perfection and create more meaningful, emotionally connected wildlife imagery. Through long-term guidance, honest critique, and a deeper focus on storytelling, atmosphere, and observation, the mentorship helps photographers develop work that feels more personal, intentional, and authentic to their own creative voice.
2025 and 2026 cohorts are fully booked. Three places remain for 2027 applications are now open.
THE PHILOSOPHY BEHIND THE MENTORSHIP
12 Month Mentorship.
This 12 Month Creative Mentorship is built around the belief that meaningful wildlife photography is shaped by far more than technical skill alone. Drawing from years spent documenting seabirds, remote islands, and life along the Atlantic edge, the mentorship is designed to help photographers slow down, observe more deeply, and develop a stronger creative connection to both their subjects and the environments they work within.
Rather than focusing purely on camera settings or chasing individual images, the programme centres around long-term creative growth helping photographers refine how they tell a story through images, strengthen their visual identity, and create work with greater depth, emotion, and authenticity.
“Over 12 months, this mentoring programme is designed to help photographers move beyond simply taking photographs and begin creating work built on storytelling, atmosphere, emotion, and meaningful connection to the natural world.”

Create Images That Connect.
Develop A More Intentional Approach.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
Develop Your Creative Voice.
Some photographers come to me having photographed for years technically capable, but feeling that their portfolio still doesn't quite feel like their own. Others are new to photography, drawn more by a genuine curiosity about the natural world than by gear or camera settings.
What matters isn't where you're starting from. It's whether you're serious about developing a way of seeing that is genuinely your own.
What I look for in everyone I work with is the same: a willingness to slow down, to be honest about your work, and to commit to something longer than a weekend workshop.
If you want someone who will be encouraging without being honest, this probably isn't the right fit. But if you're looking for both honest feedback and genuine support, and you're ready to commit to a year of meaningful creative development, I'd love to hear from you.
BUILDING YOUR IDENTITY
Real Creative Growth Takes Time.
Creative growth rarely comes through isolated workshops or short bursts of instruction. It develops through consistency, reflection, honest critique, and learning how to see more deeply over months, not days.
That's what this year is designed to support. Helping you deepen your connection to the natural world, build a more intentional body of work, and find a way of seeing that is genuinely and unmistakably your own.
ONE-TO-ONE MENTORING
Tailored For Your Needs.
Every photographer approaches wildlife differently, which is why no two mentorships are ever the same.
Throughout the year I work closely with you through honest critique, regular one-to-one sessions, and sustained creative guidance. We work on sharpening your creative direction, making more considered images, and developing a body of work that is personal, intentional, and rooted in a deep sense of place..
Develop Your Creative Voice.
