  • The Falkland Islands is an island paradise where the wildlife comes to you. They are located between latitudes 51° and 52° S and longitudes 57° and 62° W in the South Atlantic Ocean, situated approximately 650 kilometers off the south-eastern tip of South America. This archipelago consists of 778 islands, with the two main islands being East and West Falkland. East Falkland is home to the island's capital, Stanley, which is home to around 2,500 people, roughly 85% of the population. Throughout this trip, we explore the very best the Falklands has to offer, focusing on everything from its amazing birdlife to its stunning marine life.

    • Featuring the leadership, expertise and knowledge from two internationally awarded wildlife photographers: Kevin Morgans, author of Puffins: Life On The Atlantic Edge & Arctic explorer David Gibbon, who has led expeditions to some of the most inhospitable places on the planet – including Greenland & Ellesmere Island

    • Midnight Sun & Summer Solstice Celebrations – The trip is timed to coincide with the midnight sun; if conditions allow, we will be able to photograph in the exquisite Arctic light. On the summer solstice the islanders will have their annual celebration, an event we are welcome to join.

    • Grimsey Island – Grimsey is best known for its birdlife during the breeding season; it's home to over 100,000 puffins, as well as fulmars, kittiwakes, Arctic terns & countless auks, making this remote island a dream for wildlife photography. However, there is so much more than seabirds, with snow buntings, red-necked phalaropes & waders also breeding here. Plus, a beautiful herd of native Icelandic horses can be found roaming the island's interior.

    • Private Rib Charter – We will explore a beautiful fjord, searching for humpback whales in their summer feeding grounds. This truly is one of the best places in Iceland to photograph these majestic animals.

  • “I have left with memories that will last a lifetime, from our first night on a private whale watching rib boat where we were lucky enough to have several sightings 5 humpback whales under the midnight sun, watching kittiwakes and puffins in high tides with huge waves crashing around them, or spending time with the wild Icelandic ponies. As well as the happy memories, I am leaving with a portfolio of images that I am really proud of, that I will look back on for years to come with a smile on my face. Thank you both so much - looking forward to booking on another trip with you soon”

  • “This trip was on my bucket list for so long, especially because of the puffins. As soon as we arrived, I knew the next 6 days were going to be awesome. I felt like I was in photography heaven. Thanks to the flawless organisation of the group leaders David and Kev and their unearthly friendship, and of course for the group itself... See you someday somewhere...”

Bali - Land Of The Midnight Sun

  • "We have just returned from a six-day photography experience on Grimsey Island, and what fun it was! Not just a great wildlife spectacle but also lots of laughter and good humour aided and abetted by the organisers, David and Kevin. Turning to the wildlife, there were the expected masses of puffins but also kittiwakes, fulmars, guillemots, razorbills, eiders, skuas, kittiwakes, redshanks, phalaropes, turnstones, ring plovers, snow buntings, oyster catchers and so much more. We were also fortunate to see the young of eiders, kittiwakes, phalaropes, snow bunting, redshanks and terns. Overall, an excellent holiday which we shared with an amazing group of fellow photographers – well organised and very enjoyable. We have returned home with a wealth of photographs and many happy memories.”
