Experience the wild beauty of southern France on an immersive photography workshop dedicated to the iconic Camargue horse.
Unlike many Camargue photography experiences, Spirit of the Camargue includes seven dedicated photography sessions, giving you exceptional time in the field and the opportunity to photograph these remarkable horses across a spectacular variety of landscapes.
From windswept Mediterranean beaches and atmospheric marshes to vast salt flats and open wetlands, every session offers a different environment, different light and new creative possibilities.
With a small, intimate group, there is time to slow down, work with the conditions and truly immerse yourself in the landscape. From atmospheric dawns to dramatic skies and windswept coastal scenes, we'll embrace the ever-changing character of the Camargue to create images that capture not just the horses, but the spirit of the place they call home.

Our base for the workshop is the extraordinary medieval town of Aigues-Mortes, a beautifully preserved walled town at the gateway to the Camargue.
Stepping through its ancient walls feels like stepping back in time. Stone ramparts, narrow streets, atmospheric squares and centuries of history surround us, creating a characterful and memorable base from which to explore the wild landscapes beyond.
After our photography sessions, we'll return to our accomodation to slow the pace, enjoy the local atmosphere and experience the very different character of Aigues-Mortes
With the Camargue on our doorstep and the historic town as our base, the experience combines wild horses, extraordinary landscapes and authentic southern French character making the destination itself an important part of the journey.
