Beyond A Thousand Hills
A visual journey into the hidden world of Britain's most iconic seabird.
For more than a decade, the Atlantic puffin has shaped my life.
From the windswept cliffs of Skomer and the Farne Islands to the remote edges of the North Atlantic, I have spent thousands of hours living alongside these remarkable birds waiting for fleeting moments that reveal their beauty, resilience and character.
Puffins: Life on the Atlantic Edge is the culmination of that journey.
More than a photography book, it is a celebration of one of Britain's most loved seabirds and a reminder of why protecting our wild coastlines has never been more important.
Whether you're a wildlife enthusiast, photographer or simply someone who appreciates the natural world, this book offers an intimate perspective rarely seen before.

The book contains more than 200 beautiful photos from across every corner of Rwanda. From pioneering innovation to spectacular wildlife and landscapes, these photos capture a country that is fast becoming the go- to destination for discerning travellers visiting Africa. Over 3 years, professional UK based photographer, Cate Gunn and her entrepreneurial brother John Gunn spent months traversing the entire country by foot, meeting some of Rwanda’s most inspiring entrepreneurs. Enriched by written input and stories from inspiring local Rwandans, Beyond A Thousand Hills is a unique visual celebration of Rwanda. As a social project, a proportion of proceeds are being donated to Inkomoko, a Kigali based social enterprise that supports local Rwandan entrepreneurs.
